(West Toledo) -- Dozens of nearby residents were evacuated early this morning when a garage caught fire early Tuesday morning. It happened around five o'clock on Alvin near Bancroft Streets. Shooting flames and thick smoke could be seen for blocks. The fire forced nearby residents out of their homes.
